How do I get my pet's records in order?

  1. 1

    Add your pets

Name, breed, birthday, a photo. About thirty seconds each, and there's no limit on how many.

  2. 2

    Log shots, meds, and supplies

Enter a vaccine or a bag of food once. Lukkie tracks what's due and what's running low from there.

  3. 3

    Share or export anytime

Add your household, or hand your vet a clean PDF. Your records leave with you whenever you want.

Questions people ask first

  • What is Lukkie?

Lukkie is a free app for keeping your pets' health records and supplies in one place: vaccines, medications, vet visits, food, and litter. It works offline, needs no account, and starts on the web before iOS and Android. It's named after a Shih Tzu whose vet paperwork inspired it.

  • Is Lukkie really free?

Yes. Unlimited pets, family sharing, and full export are all in the free version, with no account and no ads. A paid plan comes later for cloud sync and backup, and it stays optional.

  • Does Lukkie pull records from my vet automatically?

No. You enter what matters, or copy it across from the paperwork you already have. Veterinary software rarely opens up to owners, so an automatic import isn't something we can honestly promise. The upside is that your copy doesn't depend on a clinic staying in business, or on you staying their client.

  • Will Lukkie remind me when a vaccination is due?

Yes. Enter a shot or a treatment once and Lukkie works out when the next one is due, then reminds you. Flea, tick, and wormer treatments work the same way.

  • Does it work without internet?

Everything is stored on your phone, so it works with no signal at all. Until the cloud backup ships, export a PDF now and then so you have a copy off the device.

  • Which devices will Lukkie run on?

A web demo comes first, so you can try it in any browser. Native iOS and Android apps follow. Each keeps records on its own device for now; syncing them together is part of the paid plan.

  • How many people can share a pet's records?

Up to three people in a household on the free plan, all seeing the same records. The paid plan raises that limit.

  • Can I get my data out?

Any pet, to PDF or CSV, any time. Built to hand to a vet, a sitter, or a boarding kennel.

  • Can I use Lukkie to prove my pet's shots for boarding or a groomer?

Yes. Export a PDF of a pet's vaccination history and hand it over at check-in. It works offline, so you can pull it up at the counter with no signal. Travel between countries usually needs a vet-signed certificate as well, which only your vet can issue.

  • What if my pet sees more than one vet?

The record is yours rather than any one clinic's, so a regular vet, an emergency hospital, and a specialist all land in the same history. That is usually the quickest way to answer whether a pet has had something before.

  • What if I adopted a rescue with no medical history?

Start with whatever came with them, even if that's only a rabies tag and a rough guess at their age. Add each visit as it happens and the record fills itself in over the first year. Anything you don't know can stay blank.
