Questions people ask first
What is Lukkie?
Lukkie is a free app for keeping your pets' health records and supplies in one place: vaccines, medications, vet visits, food, and litter. It works offline, needs no account, and starts on the web before iOS and Android. It's named after a Shih Tzu whose vet paperwork inspired it.
Is Lukkie really free?
Yes, and the free version is the whole core of the app: unlimited pets and records, basic reminders, household sharing for three, and full PDF and CSV export, with no account and no ads. Your own pets stay on the one device you add them to. A paid tier, Lukkie Plus, is optional and adds cross-device sync, photo backup, health trends, and a shareable vet link.
How much does Lukkie Plus cost?
₱149 a month or ₱1,490 a year, with a 7-day free trial, and it stays optional — the free version never expires or nags. The first 1,000 people to subscribe get a founding rate of ₱99 a month or ₱990 a year, locked in for as long as they stay subscribed.
Does Lukkie pull records from my vet automatically?
No. You enter what matters, or copy it across from the paperwork you already have. Veterinary software rarely opens up to owners, so an automatic import isn't something we can honestly promise. The upside is that your copy doesn't depend on a clinic staying in business, or on you staying their client.
Will Lukkie remind me when a vaccination is due?
Yes. Enter a shot or a treatment once and Lukkie works out when the next one is due, then reminds you. Flea, tick, and wormer treatments work the same way, and it's all in the free version.
Does it work without internet?
Everything is stored on your device, so it works with no signal at all. Export a PDF now and then to keep a copy elsewhere; automatic off-device backup and cross-device sync are part of Lukkie Plus.
Which devices will Lukkie run on?
The web version is live now — try it in any browser. Native iOS and Android apps follow. On the free plan each device keeps its own records; syncing your own pets across devices is part of Lukkie Plus, and household-shared records already sync for everyone.
How many people can share a pet's records?
Up to three people in a household on the free plan, all seeing and updating the same records. Lukkie Plus raises that limit. Either way you can export a PDF or CSV to hand to a partner, a sitter, or a boarding kennel.
Can I get my data out?
Any pet, to PDF or CSV, any time, on the free plan. Built to hand to a vet, a sitter, or a boarding kennel.
Can I use Lukkie to prove my pet's shots for boarding or a groomer?
Yes. Export a PDF of a pet's vaccination history and hand it over at check-in. It works offline, so you can pull it up at the counter with no signal. Travel between countries usually needs a vet-signed certificate as well, which only your vet can issue.
What if my pet sees more than one vet?
The record is yours rather than any one clinic's, so a regular vet, an emergency hospital, and a specialist all land in the same history. That is usually the quickest way to answer whether a pet has had something before.
What if I adopted a rescue with no medical history?
Start with whatever came with them, even if that's only a rabies tag and a rough guess at their age. Add each visit as it happens and the record fills itself in over the first year. Anything you don't know can stay blank.
Can I try Lukkie now?
Yes. There's a live web demo — a populated sample account you can poke around in any browser, no signup, no email. The full web app is in beta; join the waitlist and we'll tell you when the iOS and Android apps land and hold your founding rate.
